Golden Turmeric Elixir

This anti-inflammatory turmeric elixir is a soothing, warming drink to Support your WHOLE Body Beautiful.

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
½ tsp ground turmeric
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
Pinch of black pepper (optional, enhances absorption of turmeric)

Instructions:

In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat. Whisk in the turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and sweetener of choice. Heat until just warm. Remove from heat, and for a frothy texture, blend in a blender. Serve immediately, optionally topping with a pinch of black pepper.

WBB Pro Tip: You can add a dash of vanilla extract for extra warmth and flavor.

Anti-inflammatory Smoothie

Serves 1

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small piece of peeled fresh ginger root

  • 1 small piece of peeled fresh turmeric ( or ¼ tsp. of powder)

  • ¼ tsp. chia seeds

  • 1/2 cup frozen mango

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 walnuts

  • Pinch of cinnamon

METHOD

  1. Blend to desired consistency adding a little ice if you like, while blending.

  2. Top w/ hemp hearts or seeds
